AAR: NRA YHEC Event #3 (December 10, 2016, Sparta, IL)

by / / After Action Report (AAR)

Revere’s Riders hosted youth and their parents for the National Rifle Association’s YHEC program at the World Shooting and Recreational Complex in Sparta, IL on November 5th, 2016.

NRA’s Youth Hunter Education Challenge (YHEC) provides a fun environment for kids 18 and under to improve their hunting, marksmanship and safety skills. Through its simulated hunting situations, live fire exercises, educational and responsibility events, YHEC helps build upon skills learned in basic hunter education courses and encourages safer, lifelong hunting habits.

For the past 30 years this national program has encouraged 1.2 Million Youth to be better hunters. Designed to present information to develop ethics, conservation and safety habits; YHEC dovetails into Revere’s Riders vision statement of “Every American Choosing Liberty, Every Day.”
