MBM Donation of the Day: LWRCi
LWRCi, a founding and 5-year sponsor of the Marty Brown Memorial™ series of events, has again generously donated to our upcoming Marty Brown Memorial Open™ IN Rifle & Pistol event on Sept. 5-6, 2026.
LWRCi’s core mission is focused on the relentless pursuit of high-performance firearms; to deliver absolute reliability, consistent accuracy and extreme durability. The foundation for every LWRCI rifle is their patented, self-regulating, short-stroke piston system. As with all piston rifles the venting of hot gases into the receiver and bolt carrier group are eliminated, improving performance and eliminating the cleaning regime associated with direct impingement rifles. LWRCi also manufactures its own cold hammer-forged barrels to ensure the same high standards as their guns. Each barrel is manufactured out of 41V45 steel alloy treated with NiCorr™ surface conversion technology. The cold hammer forging process compacts a gundrilled barrel blank over a mandrel using pressure rotary hammers. This process forms a perfect rifling devoid of tool marks, stronger and denser than any other process.

The Marty Brown Memorial Open™ IN Rifle & Pistol will be suitable for firearms enthusiasts ranging in experience from beginner to expert; the event will generally follow the Basic Rifle and Basic Pistol courses of instruction with some drills omitted to fit into a single day and to allow for fundraising at various points. Lunch will be included.
