Marty Brown Memorial Invitational Registration Deadline Approaching
The registration deadline for the 10th Annual Marty Brown Memorial Invitational™ is fast approaching. Unlike previous years, this year we must turn in our list of attendees 30 days prior to the event; that means we need your registration completed no later than 5:00PM EDT on Oct 9th.
The Marty Brown Memorial Invitational™ is held on the military side of Camp Atterbury on the ranges which were previously used for the NRA National Matches. Since we will be on military property we are subject to military restrictions and policy. Submission of an attendee list 30 days before an event is Camp Atterbury, not Revere’s Riders, policy. In previous years, we had been allowed to bypass that policy due to our longstanding use of the Camp Atterbury ranges. Unfortunately, that has come to an end this year.
Being on an active military base means you will likely get to see and hear various military training activities taking place. These typically include full auto fire, artillery, and/or mortar exercises. Occasionally, we are treated to more unusual training such as paratroopers or A-10 Warthog strafing runs. It is rare to not experience something interesting while on base…

With this year being the 10th Anniversary event, we would like to set an attendance record. This is an informal match where competition is semi-serious but anyone who is safe with their rifle and familiar with the Revere’s Riders Rifle Qualification Test (R3QT), NRA “Across the Course” matches, or similar 3-position sling only matches is welcome to attend. Heck, if you’d like to just come out and join us for a weekend on a phenomenal range with a bunch of good people, bring whatever rifle you have regardless of its suitability for 3-position shooting. Shoot it off a bipod, it’s all good. We may not allow your scores to go towards the High Score trophy, but you can still gather valuable dope, get one of our give-aways just for attending, and bid on silent auction items. That makes for a heck of a weekend as well.
