MBM Donation of the Day: XShear
XShear, new sponsor of the Marty Brown Memorial™series of events in 2026, has generously donated to our upcoming Marty Brown Memorial Open™ IN Rifle & Pistol event on Sept. 5-6, 2026.
Wes Brubaker, founder of XShear, paramedic and flight nurse, found himself more and more dissatisfied with the “disposable” shears on the market. Wes believed a better product could be designed that outperformed and outlasted anything else available. Wes teamed up with a world class product designer and manufacturing partner to bring to market the highest quality and most innovative trauma shears available today.

The Marty Brown Memorial Open™ IN Rifle & Pistol will be suitable for firearms enthusiasts ranging in experience from beginner to expert; the event will generally follow the Basic Rifle and Basic Pistol courses of instruction with some drills omitted to fit into a single day and to allow for fundraising at various points. Lunch will be included.
