Instructor Training Event — ECCL — Milan, OH — Mar 14-15, 2026

The Ohio RR Leadership Team is pleased to announce that we will again be holding a two-day Instructor Training Weekend (ITW) at Erie County Conservation Club (ECCL), Milan, Ohio on March 14-15, 2025. Al has already sent an email invitation to many of you. This event will run from 8:30am to 6:00pm on Saturday and 8:30am-4:00pm on Sunday. Lunch and snacks will also be available both days.

You may be saying … “So what the heck is an ITW”? This is an event where RR Volunteers/Instructors gather to work on our instructional skills, to get ready for the upcoming shooting season, and to learn the processes we want everyone to use to volunteer to work our events,  And, you will spend a couple of fun days with your fellow volunteers. During the event, we will cover:

Proper safety briefing guidelines
Stop the Bleed overview and other safety related matters
Teaching Prone POIs
Presenting good Heritage – Tips
Teaching Standing POI’s
Teaching Seated POI’s
Pistol POI’s
ABC’s of a shot/IMC presentation guidelines/KD fundamentals
RR website review, Green Dragon Tavern review and procedures for signing up for events
RR and Ohio Business/Events update
And much more…..
