MBM Donation of the Day: Vortex Optics
Vortex Optics, founding sponsor of the Marty Brown Memorial™ series of events and every subsequent year since then, has again generously donated several items which we will be including in our upcoming Marty Brown Memorial Open™ Defensive Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun event on July 25, 2026. The Marty Brown Memorial Open™ Defensive Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun event will be our inaugural “defensive/tactical” style event for the Marty Brown Memorial™ series. Brad Hammack (US Army, retired) will be the event instructor as he has been for most of our past defensive/tactical style events. The Marty Brown Memorial Open™ Defensive Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun won’t be an introductory event; it is recommended that you have previously taken the Revere’s Riders Basic Defensive Rifle course or the equivalent elsewhere. This event will also involve some moderate physical exertion (like the optional skills contest which involves carrying/dragging a 150lb sand monkey), so you will need to be reasonably physically fit as well.
